Who We Are & What is Hashing?

A social and sporting group open to all newcomers. The only membership requirement is that you are a nice person, respect others, interested in having fun, and leave your egos and politics at home!

"GIVE US YOUR FIT AND HEALTHY AND WE SHALL DESTROY THEM!" 🏃‍♂️🍻

Who We Are

Since 1986, the Rabat Hash House Harriers (RH3) is a group of 30 to 50 outgoing, fun-loving people who get together weekly to socialize, run, and walk in the beautiful countryside, beaches, forests, and neighborhoods around Rabat, Mohammedia, and Casablanca.

Our group is multicultural, equally family-oriented and adult-oriented! Like any Hash in the world, there are no strict requirements to join us except having a sense of humor, smiling, and sharing fun moments.

🕒 Meeting Schedule: We meet every Saturday at 2:00 PM (Winter) or 4:00 PM (Summer) at designated venue locations announced weekly.

What is Hashing?

Hashing is a refreshing break from the 9-to-5 routine! It is an exhilarating combination of running, orienteering, and partying where bands of harriers chase hares on 8-to-10 km trails through town, country, and forest.

A hare sets out first to lay a devious trail marked with flour or chalk. The pack follows the trail marks to find the end, where thirsty hashers gather for cold drinks, food, and traditional Hash circles.

👟 Hasher Golden Rule: NEVER wear brand-new shoes to the Hash! 👟

📜 Goals of the Hash (1938 KL Charter)

1. Physical Fitness

To promote physical fitness among our members through adventurous trails.

2. Cure Hangovers

To get rid of weekend hangovers out in the fresh air.

3. Satisfy Thirst

To acquire a good thirst and to satisfy it with cold refreshments.

4. Youthful Spirit

To persuade older members that they are not as old as they feel!

We Are Eco-Friendly! 🌿

RH3 hashers respect nature and the environment! All our trail marks are laid using bio-degradable eco flour or chalk. We leave zero trash behind on our trails and actively protect the forests and beaches of Morocco.
